Check that you fulfill the system requirements.
-
Most specifically, verify that you have installed DirectX (incl.
5.0 DirectShow and DirectSound for Windows95) on your system (eg.,
you installed Microsoft IE4.0 or higher.).
-
Check whether you have installed Java JDK 1.2 or higher (JDK1.4
recommended).
-
Download all necessary files (you should
have done this while you read this page.)
-
Install Sun's JRE 1.2+, preferably Java 1.4 (java.sun.com/getjava).
-
Note: If you run the casino application as an applet, Java
is installed automatically and the game will guide you to install
the Java Media Framework (JMF) if it detects that it is missing.
-
The Java Media Framework version 1.2.2a or higher is found at java.sun.com/products/java-media/jmf/index.html.
Select the Windows performance option. The pure java version (as needed
for Linux) cannot play the music or video in this game and you must
disable all animation for the game to work.
-
The actual installation is more than simple:
Doubleclick ecasino.jar.
Should this fail, type: 'java -jar ecasino.jar' in a dos-shell.
