You can influence the way the roulette game bahaves, ie. the kind
of animations played, the exact behaviour of dragging, or the way
drop positions are highlighted. These are your options:

Effect options:
Animation
Wether an animation of the roulette wheel is shown.
Sound
Wether sound efects are played.
Midi
Wether background music shall be played.
Drag mode:
Chips are dragged from their current position, and dropped
at their destination position. You grab chips at the
highlighted field on the ground (on the roulette table). For a high
pile of chips this may be counter-intuitive as you may not grab chips
where they appear. However, it gives you precise control of from
where exactly, and to where exactly, you are dragging! You
may drop at any highlighted field.
Traditional
You press the mouse, and keep the mouse button pressed while you
move the mouse. When you release the button, the chip is dropped.
(Except if dropping is impossible at that point: then you have to
click it to another position in order to really drop!)
Auto Drag
Enable this option as soon as possible! It avoids the need for
constantly keeping the mouse button pressed while dragging.
Auto Drag & Drop
The option for advanced players. You will be able to automatically
drop the next chip without the need to first grab it. In order to
exit such an auto drop sequence:
Drop the last chip of the
sequence with the right mouse button, or
drop the chip where the first in
the sequence came from originally (drop it back).
You may always also drag chips you
have already placed as bets, either to other positions, or back to
your stock.
Highlighting:
Drop (and also possible drag points) are normally highlighted.
This gives you invaluable feedback of the exact operation you are
currently engaged into. It is not possible to drop on a field which
is not highlighted (with highlighting enabled at all), or to drag
from a field which does not highlight if the mouse is over it. The
drop highlighting normally represents the fields which would win with
the corresponding bet, not just the field itself. This adds extra
feedback about the kind of bet you are making.
Outline
A surrounding border of highlighted fields is drawn.
Flash
This looks prettier but is also slower: the fields are really
highlighted, they become brighter. On slow machines, or
with low memory, do not use this option. Try this option: if your
game does not run out of memory after a while, you can use
it, and speed will pretty much increase while you play.
Off
Oh well, we felt some would like this option. Real casino tables
don't highlight either? Logically, the associated sound effect is
turned off as well.
Screen mode:
Screen mode controls the screen resolution which to run the casino hall
part of the game at.
-
Window The normal (default)
mode using a plain window.
-
Fullscreen Fullscreen mode
is required for full gambling experience. You will see the roulette
hall at optimum screen resolution, preferably 640x480 pixels and a
refresh rate very close to your current one. Screen resolution is
only altered temporarily while you are at the roulette hall. This
option requires Windows and JDK 1.4 or higher to work - and may be
unstable on some graphics cards.
