Reports: overview

Reports allow you to track the progress of your project. You can easily define, save and run reports in an issue type. Defining and using reports is a simple process:

• Define your type of report
• Determine your attribute filters
• Select the row and column content

Types of Reports

There are two types of reports available within Scarab: comparative analysis and rate of change.

• The comparative analysis report type is a snap shot of a single point in time. Use this report type to compare attributes,options and/or users at a single point in time.
• The rate of change report allows you to track changes in your project over a period of time.

Attribute filters

The primary filter attribute (PFA) defines the subset of issues from which the report is drawn.

If you have a several similar attributes defined in your PFA you may wish to display an average of the options.

Display criteria

The final step in defining a report is to set the display options. Use this area to define the row and column content.
